These are the second and third ingredients approved under China's CSAR, following Beiersdorf's Thiamidol630 in November 2024. Whitening Agent Dimethoxytolyl propylresorcinol (registration number: "国妆原注字20250002), was registered by Unigen Inc. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Washington State, USA, Unigen Inc. is a company specializing in the research, development, and manufacture of natural active ingredients, with applications in dietary supplements, prescription drugs, and personal care products. As announced by China NMPA, Dimethoxytolyl propylresorcinol has been registered as a whitening agent.
