From November 11 to 17, 2025, 7 new cosmetic ingredients (NCIs) were notified with the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
The technical requirements for the 7 new cosmetic ingredients mentioned above have not been disclosed, and they have not yet entered the safety monitoring period; five of the seven are plant-derived ingredients.
Pentyl 3-glyceryl Ascorbate is a vitamin C derivative. Located in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, the site focuses on producing fragrances, flavors, and cosmetic ingredients. This marks the company's second notified NCI.
Camellia petelotii, commonly known as Golden Camellia, is a species of the Camellia genus native to southern Guangxi, China. In December 2024, China's National Health Commission approved Golden Camellia as a new food ingredient, with its leaves designated as the edible part. Since 2021, extracts from the flowers and leaves of Golden Camellia (Camellia chrysantha and Camellia petelotii) have been notified a total of six times as NCIs.
So far this year, LAN DIVINE has notified four new cosmetic ingredients, including this one—all of which are plant extracts. In addition, the company registered one NCI in October: Anse® LuoshenZhu. It is the first NCI notified by a Chinese company under the current regulatory framework, and also the first colorant to complete registration.

Moringa peregrina is a species native to Saudi Arabia's AlUla region. Through long-term natural selection, it has adapted to the area's extreme environment and is valued for its traditional, nutritional, industrial, and medicinal uses.

This marks the first NCI notified by a Saudi Arabian company.
