Recently, Cosmoprof Asia 2025 and Cosmopack Asia 2025 concluded successfully in Hong Kong. This year's event brought together 2,688 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions, showcasing innovations across skincare, makeup, fragrance, hair-care, nail products, and the full beauty supply chain. Spanning over 120,000 m², the exhibition demonstrated its strong international presence, with nearly 90% of exhibitors coming from outside Hong Kong.
According to the organizers, the show welcomed over 70,000 professional visitors from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. Exhibitors from Southeast Asia and South Asia were particularly active, reflecting the energy and growth potential of the Asian beauty market.
As part of Cosmoprof Asia, the Beauty Ingredients & Formulation Asia (BIFA) exhibition and forum focused on cosmetic ingredients, formulation technologies, and scientific development. Throughout the event, BIFA showcased the dynamic progress of the Asian beauty sector through its forum sessions, exhibitor interactions, and themed activities.
ZMUni was honored to participate as an exhibitor at BIFA 2025. Our booth welcomed global beauty brands and ingredient suppliers interested in China's cosmetic and ingredient regulatory requirements. Through direct conversations with industry peers, we further demonstrated our expertise in global cosmetic and ingredient compliance services and strengthened our connections across international markets.
On the morning of November 12, 2025, Chris Wang—Senior Regulatory Affairs Researcher and Head of Operation at ZMUni—delivered a keynote presentation at the Cosmopack Stage titled:
“China's Cosmetic & Ingredient Innovation Trends from a Regulatory Viewpoint”
Her session reviewed China's cosmetic regulatory and industry developments during the 14th Five-Year Plan, outlined the key regulatory priorities anticipated for the 15th Five-Year Plan, and introduced six categories of innovative cosmetic ingredients along with their corresponding compliance pathways. The presentation offered global beauty and supply-chain partners a clearer understanding of China's regulatory landscape and emerging innovation trends.
A selection of slides is provided below for preview.
