ZMUni Seminar Recap: Practical Insights on Global Cosmetic Compliance During PCHi 2026 Week
Published on:2026-03-18

On March 17, 2026, ZMUni hosted its "Global Cosmetic Compliance Development & Practice 2026" seminar in Hangzhou, right in the heart of PCHi 2026 week. Over 100 industry professionals joined us to explore the latest regulatory trends, compliance strategies, and practical insights for navigating both China's dynamic market and the broader global cosmetics landscape.

The seminar opened with remarks from a former official of the Zhejiang Medical Products Administration, highlighting the importance of compliance in driving high-quality industry development and aligning with global regulatory standards.

Building on this, our speakers shared hands-on insights across both China and international markets.

On the China side, key topics included compliance framework development, new cosmetic ingredient registration strategies, and evolving requirements for new efficacy claims.

From a global perspective, discussions covered regulatory trends in major markets (including the EU, US, and ASEAN), international export requirements, and alternative testing approaches—helping brands stay aligned across both China and the global cosmetics landscape.

The seminar also featured a well-curated tea break, offering a great opportunity for informal exchanges and meaningful connections.

We concluded the seminar with the launch of the 2026 Global Cosmetic Compliance Initiative, joined by 52 participating companies, including domestic cosmetics brands and ingredient suppliers such as Chicmax, Giant Biotech, and INTO YOU, as well as international players, including DERMAFIRM and JMsolution. The initiative calls on the industry to collaborate, embed compliance into corporate strategy, and drive high-quality growth together.

ZMUni continues to offer seminars, workshops, and tailored consultations, supporting international brands with practical, reliable, and cost-effective compliance solutions in China's fast-evolving beauty and personal care market.

We will also be hosting a webinar next week, where we'll continue to share key regulatory updates and practical compliance insights for global cosmetics brands entering the China market. Stay tuned for more details.
