The technical requirements for the 8 new cosmetic ingredients mentioned above have not been disclosed, and they have not yet entered the safety monitoring period.

The company has long been dedicated to research and product development in the field of skin barrier health, focusing on common concerns such as dry and sensitive skin by providing science-based care solutions.

Sodium polyitaconate is submitted by Itaconix Corporation, founded in 2008 and headquartered in New Hampshire, USA. Itaconix is a biotechnology company specializing in the development of sustainable specialty polymers. Utilizing its proprietary patented technology platform, the company produces renewable organic acid—Itaconic acid—through fermentation, and develops plant-based polymer products for household cleaning, personal care, and industrial applications.
Stachyose is a naturally occurring tetrasaccharide, appearing as a white powder with a mildly sweet taste. Thanks to its natural origin, multifunctionality, and safety, stachyose shows promising potential in the cosmetics field. Its applications in moisturizing, skin repair, and skin micro-ecology (linked to the gut–skin axis) are expected to continue growing.
The stachyose submitted by Jayu Bio in this application is derived from the root of Rehmannia glutinosa using a plant extraction process. Following safety and functional evaluations, this ingredient can be used in cosmetics as a skin protectant and moisturizer. Rehmannia glutinosa, commonly known as Di Huang, is a perennial herb widely found in northern China and is a frequently used traditional Chinese medicinal herb. It is mainly produced in Henan province and is regarded as one of the "Four Major Huai Medicines."
Gentiana Crassicaulis is mainly distributed in southwest China and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, growing in alpine meadows or forest edges at elevations of 2,100 to 4,500 meters. Due to its high medicinal value and unique bioactivity, it is widely used in traditional medicine.

Matrinium Caffeinate, a novel supramolecular ingredient, was awarded the 2024 INPD AWARDS-Raw Materials in COSMETOPIADS held in Paris, France. This ingredient was developed by Shinehigh Innovation using its proprietary supramolecular technology, which intelligently assembles the active component of the traditional Eastern medicinal herb Sophora flavescens (matrine) with the Western botanical compound caffeic acid.
