China Seeks Input on Nine Cosmetic Testing Methods, Including Toothpaste Ingredients

On January 22, 2025, the China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) announced a public consultation on nine draft testing methods for cosmetics, including toothpaste. This initiative aims to enhance the technical standards for cosmetic products. The proposed methods are as follows:
