This method specifies the qualitative and quantitative determination of urotropin (also known as methenamine, CAS No. 100-97-0) in cosmetics. Urotropin is listed in China's List of Prohibited Cosmetic Ingredients. The method is applicable to cream/lotion, sheet mask, and spray cosmetic products.
