On May 10, 2024, the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) issued a new supplementary testing method: BJH 202402 Determination of Diflurasone Propionate in Cosmetics. This method outlines the qualitative and quantitative analysis of Diflorasone 17-propionate (CAS No.924726-89-6) and Diflorasone 21-propionate (CAS No. 541502-98-1) in various categories of cosmetics, such as liquid (water, oil), cream and milk, gel, and wax-based products. On April 30, 2024, the China State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) issued a regulation specifying the filing requirements for health food containing three ingredients: Ginseng, American Ginseng, and Lingzhi.
